Zelenskyy praises Ukraine’s victory at Eurovision – Channel 4 News

The Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra returns home after their overwhelming victory in the Eurovision song contest, after they were granted special permission to leave the country and participate in the event.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his country’s courage had “impressed the world” and he wanted next year’s competition to be held in the city of Mariupol, which has been relentlessly shelled by Russian forces.
