JAKARTA – One person was killed and five others injured when an oil refinery operated by Indonesia’s state oil and gas company PT Pertamina caught fire in the city of Balikpapan in East Kalimantan province on Sunday, a rescuer said.

The accident occurred at 11:00 am local time and the victims were the workers of the company and a contracting company, Head of the Search and Rescue Office in Mel East Kalimantan province.
