Trevor Noah Shares His Opinion On Kanye West’s Behavior Amid Split From Kim Kardashian: What She’s Going Through Is Terrifying To Watch
It looks Trevor Noah is the latest celebrity to speak out on the Kanye WestKim Kardashian and Peter Davidson saga!
During Tuesday’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah spoke candidly about the Chicago rappers contentious divorce from kim kardashian and his public attacks on her and her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. The talk show host describes it as a story that
“more people should pay attention to…over time, Kanye has become more and more belligerent in how he tries to get Kim back.”
The comedian brought up several examples he described as troublesome behavior, including Kanye’s music video for “Eazy” in which a claymation resembling Peter Davidson was buried neck deep then decapitated.
“I do understand that art can be therapy — I honestly do understand that. But I also understand that therapy can be therapy.”
Trevor Noah compared Kanye’s situation with Kim to his own experience as a child witnessing his mother being abused. He mentioned people thought his mother, Patricia, was “overreacting” before his stepfather shot her in the head. (Patricia survived the attempted murder.)
“You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous, but what she’s going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”
I have continued,
“What we’re seeing here is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her.”

He later adds,
“As a society, we have to ask ourselves questions. Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming? Or do we want to say ‘hey, slow down, let’s put our hazards on, because there’s a storm right now.”
It appears kanye-west caught wind of Trevor Noah’s remarks and wasn’t too fond of it. On Wednesday (Mar.16) the “Junya” rapper made an Instagram post where he shared images of Noah and captioned the post with a racial slur against the South African native. Kanye wrote,
“All in together now… K–n berry my lord k–n berry K–n berry my lord K–n berry Oooo’ lord K–n berry.”
West was mocking Noah by using the offensive “k–n” slur to replace the original lyrics in “Kumbaya.”
Kanye’s offensive post resulted in him being suspended from Instagram for 24 hours. According to a Meta spokesperson, the rapper’s recent posts violated the company’s policies on hate speech and bullying and harassment. He is unable to post, comment or send DMs for 24 hours.
