Severe storms hit western Minnesota

Severe thunderstorms brought rain, hail, and damaging winds to northwest and west-central Minnesota on Wednesday, May 18. The National Weather Service (NWS) reported hail in the region on Wednesday and announced another “severe storm threat” for the Minnesota Lake Country on Thursday.
