Liberal social media commentators are rallying support for abortion activists to protest outside the homes of Supreme Court justices and at churches.

“Go into people’s homes. Go into their places of worship. Make them feel as uncomfortable as they are trying to make you feel. This is not the time for civility, this is the time for mass resistance and demonstrations,” cartoonist . Jon Rosenberg tweeted in response to political commentator Bill Kristol urging people not to protest at judges’ houses and churches.

Protests formed outside the homes of Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and John Roberts over the weekend in response to a draft ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade that was leaked last week.

The “Ruth Sent Us” group, named after the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, had called on abortion supporters to gather outside the homes of the “six extremist Catholics who set out to unseat Roe” and ” stand in or at a local Catholic Church” on Mother’s Day.

The group added in a tweet on Saturday that protesters “will burn the Eucharist to show our disgust at the abuse that Catholic churches have tolerated for centuries.”

Liberals and abortion supporters on Sunday denounced calls not to protest outside homes and in churches, with some warnings to “wait longer” and “look to the future and envision what is to come.”

Protests have also formed outside churches. A video shot outside of Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral Basilica in Manhattan this weekend showed a pro-abortion protester yelling “I’m killing babies!” as he waves dolls near a praying pro-life group.

Conservatives have responded to the protests with messages saying they will pray for abortion activists.

“And we will pray for all of you. Even when you kill a child, you are his mother forever and this is his day too. These truths are unavoidable. Happy Mother’s Day. See you at church today.” Matt Schlapp, CPAC President he tweeted Sunday morning.

Chief Justice Roberts asked the Chief Justice to investigate the leak and strongly condemned the matter.

“To the extent that this betrayal of the Court’s confidences was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The Court’s work will not be affected in any way,” Roberts said last week.
