Labor’s renewable energy plan would create ‘nowhere near’ the number of jobs promised

The Australian Environment Editor Graham Lloyd said there is a “lack of precision” in determining how many jobs will be created from the Labor Party’s renewable energy strategy.

Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese said more than 600,000 jobs will be created under Labor’s renewable energy plan, however Lloyd said “we really won’t know until it’s all done”.

“I think the evidence is the number of jobs, once all these things are built, it’s nowhere near what was promised at the beginning,” Mr Lloyd told Sky News presenter Paul Murray.
