Kate confesses she’s melancholic because she ‘loves babies’
Kate Middleton confessed that she is melancholy and that she “loves babies”.
The Duchess of Cambridge doted on a baby during a visit to Cambridge with her husband, Prince William.
While at Newmarket Racecourse on Thursday, Kate seemed delighted as she held the young man.
A video of the moment shows the royal smiling and chatting with the baby, telling her mother: “I love babies.”
The Duke of Cambridge was seen nearby looking at his wife.
Kate saw Marianne Provoost, who had traveled from the Netherlands, and asked if she could hold four-month-old Norah.
Mrs Provoost was heard telling the Duchess: “Enjoy your day and enjoy your children.”

Royal fans took to Twitter to celebrate the sweet moment and joked about the duke’s reaction.
One wrote: “It’s making William a little nervous. He’s nervous with three. Another might push him over the edge.”
Another added: “Poor William. He gets very nervous when Catherine starts to get blue.”

A third said: “Look at William desperately telling Catherine it’s time to go.”
The couple were also seen enjoying a beer and playing football at Newmarket Racecourse as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The couple appeared to be in a jovial mood as they attended the first Cambridgeshire County Day.
The day of festivities, which included races, performances and over 100 stalls, saw thousands of people raise money for charity, but it was Kate and Prince William who stole the show.

Kate, dressed in a print dress and nude wedges, was seen excitedly kicking a soccer ball into a goal in front of an awed crowd. Before attempting it, she Kate told the crowd that it would be difficult since she was “wearing wedges.”
After taking a shot, the Duchess shook the hand of a boy who had been playing before her and said: “You did better than me.”

Not to be outdone, Prince William also bravely tried it, despite donning a navy blue suit and suede shoes.
The pair were then seen drinking a cold beer to cool off as they chatted happily with various stall owners and also sampled chocolate.
The event featured stands from 120 exhibitors from Cambridgeshire’s business, charity, community and public sectors.
