Justin Hartley isn’t following news about ex-wife Chrishell Stause’s love life after their divorce, according to a report.
Hartley, 45, and Stause, 40, were married from October 2017 to January 2021. The two have since split, and the “This Is Us” star reportedly has no interest in keeping up. with her ex’s love life, including her. new romance with singer G Flip, who identifies as non-binary.
“Justin doesn’t keep up with the Chrishell news at all,” an unnamed source told Us Weekly. “He’s not someone who follows celebrity news unless someone mentions it to him.”
The source added that Hartley is “really about keeping her personal life private, especially when it comes to her relationships.”
Hartley and Stause’s November 2019 split was surrounded by drama, with the “Selling Sunset” star claiming in an August 2020 episode of her Netflix reality series that she found out he was divorcing her at via text message 45 minutes before “the world knew.”
An anonymous source told Us Weekly at the time that Hartley was “irritated” that “he is publicly broadcasting his private information.”
However, the first source said that Hartley is no longer paying attention to Stause’s comments.
“What Chrishell wants to talk about on TV about his past is none of his business. He has nothing to do with it, he is far removed from that relationship,” the source told the outlet. “He doesn’t like drama and he’s not a big fan of reality TV…he can’t control what she says. He doesn’t pay attention to her.”
The source further claimed that the exes “haven’t spoken in a long time,” noting, “Once they separated and divorced, that was it.”
Stause announced that she is dating G Flip during the “Selling Sunset” season 5 reunion special, which premiered last week. Not only do the couple star in G Flip’s latest music video, “Get Me Outta Here,” but they also have multiple make out sessions throughout the video.
Meanwhile, Hartley secretly married Sofia Pernas last year. Hartley, Pernas and Stause met on the set of “The Young and the Restless.” Hartley’s ex-wife and current spouse were reportedly good friends at the time, and he was in a relationship with Stause when he first met Pernas.
Hartley confirmed this in an interview with Haute Living in December 2021. According to the “Senior Year” actor, he was “unavailable” when he and Pernas met. However, he found her again when she was “in a different place in my life” and when “the time was right”.
Stause reacted to Hartley and Pernas’ wedding on “Selling Sunset” season 4, saying that she’s already moved on and wants what’s best for them.
“My ex-husband, Justin, is remarried to someone I know pretty well,” Stause said in a confessional. “And a lot of things made sense after finding that out. I wish them well. You know, I think actually, if anything, it felt good to know that. It felt like a little closure.”
