Johnny Depp Takes Photo With ‘Thrilled’ British Trader During Heard’s Trial Break

Johnny Depp has been spotted taking selfies with a fan on a completely different continent during a break from his successful libel trial.

Johnny Depp took a selfie with a fan at a UK print shop this week, while enjoying a break from his libel trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.

The pirates of the Caribbean The star was shopping for art prints and frames at a shop called King and McGaw in Newhaven, East Sussex, on England’s south coast, around 5pm on Wednesday, Emma Wishart, whose husband Stephen works at the shop, told The NY Post.

“Unfortunately I wasn’t there but my husband was excited!” Mrs Wishart said in a message on Thursday.

Depp “was very nice and relaxed and they talked about guitars,” he said, adding that the actor didn’t buy anything but might come back.

In the selfie, which Ms. Wishart posted on Twitter, Depp is shown wearing sunglasses, which he has often worn in the courtroom during his highly-watched trial in Fairfax, Virginia.

A spokesman for Depp, 58, confirmed that the actor is currently in Sussex.

The Wisharts “both look up to him a lot,” Emma said, but “are a bit old for too much adoration.”

While he has not been following the trial very closely, “of course it has been impossible not to hear anything at all,” he added.

“I don’t like his private life being shown for public entertainment and I haven’t read or seen anything on purpose.”

“Johnny is in Europe taking time to rest for a few days, hang out with old friends, play music and is taking long walks in the countryside,” said a source close to him.
