Could our volatile Midwestern spring turn into our volatile Midwestern summer?
In the famous 11 seasons of the Midwest states, St. Louis has gone through the predicted stages. We have passed the winter, the spring of fools, the second winter, the spring of deception, the third winter, and it seems that we are in the season of mud.
This weekend could be real spring as temperatures hover in the 70s, so enjoy it because temperatures are expected to hit the 90s on Monday. They will reach 93 degrees on Wednesday.
Is it real summer? Maybe not. Later in the week, temperatures are expected to drop back into the late 80s and 70s. But any excuse to eat Ted Drewe’s or a Tropical Moose Shaved Ice and we’re good to go.
