Gogglebox’s Joe and George Baggs have explained why their family was missing from the latest episode of the Channel 4 favourite.

Last night’s Gogglebox was a particularly special episode after Ellie Warner returned to her sister Izzy following her boyfriend’s horrific car accident.

However, fan favorites the Baggs family were notably absent from the night.

Where are Joe, Roisen and the Baggs? one viewer asked, which was echoed by another equally concerned audience member who said, “Missing the Baggs family tonight.”

Well, the Baggs have addressed the fans and clarified where they’ve been.

Joe wrote on his Instagram: “Hey loves the Baggs aren’t at Gogglebox this week because we’ve had such a busy and chaotic couple of weeks we haven’t gotten around to filming.”

“However, it’s always an amazing show and we can’t wait to see it together with you!”

The Baggs family joined Gogglebox in 2020, consisting of mom Linda, dad Terry, and their sons Joe and George.

The Baggs missed a heartwarming week after the cast sat down to watch Netflix’s Heartstopper, following two young schoolgirls who fall in love.

While the Goggleboxers were in pieces watching Charlie and Nick’s love story unfold, the actual cast of Heartstopper couldn’t believe they had actually made it to the Channel 4 show.

Joe, who plays Charlie, tweeted: ‘MY FACE ON GOGGLEBOX WTF’.

Gogglebox airs Monday through Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
