G Flip Reveals How They Met Chrishell Stause

Two weeks after Chrishell Stause revealed she’s dating Australian singer G Flip during the Season 5 reunion episode of “Selling Sunset,” G Flip opens up about how they met. In a new interview on People’s “People Every Day” podcast, the “Get Me Outta Here” singer said they first met Stause on Halloween when they were both dating other people. While they didn’t get involved until much later, it seems their first meeting left a lasting impression on both of them.

“We met last year on Halloween,” said G Flip. “We were both with our exes at the time… And then obviously we split up with our partners, and we started talking and stuff. We found a lot of similarities even though people would think we’re from different corners of the world.” the world. We find ourselves so similar sometimes.”

The couple gave fans a glimpse of their relationship in G Flip’s recently released music video. The image, titled “Get Me Outta Here,” which was released on May 12, includes a make out session between the singer and the reality star. According to Stause, the video is about a “chaotic love story”. During the reunion episode, he said, “I come from soap operas. I love acting. And with the job we have, I can’t always do it. At first, of course, I said, ‘Yeah, let’s do it.’ ‘”

On making the video, Stause explained, “It was a lot of fun. We had a lot of fun. Not everyone is going to be ready for it, but I think it’s great. I think it’s awesome, the song is awesome.”

G Flip echoed Stause’s sentiments. They told People that shooting the video together was “easy” and “fun.” They said of the process, “And then it was really easy and fun in the movie. [set], you know, fun, breezy and easy. So it was great to do that clip. We watched it so many times before we put it out. We went through so many edits, but it’s great. Now he is in the world.”

In the final episode of the fifth season, Stause revealed the explosive news about her relationship status after being asked by host Tan France if she was seeing someone special lately. “I recently spent a lot of time with someone who is very important to me. His name is G Flip. They’re not binary, so they go through them,” she said. “And they are an extremely talented musician.”

“I’m so happy, so if that pisses someone off, that’s not really my problem.”

Fans noted that G Flip and Stause had been a major presence in each other’s Instagram and social media comments for weeks. They were also seen together on May 1 in Denver, where G Flip was performing. However, during the reunion, Stause didn’t share when the relationship started, and it seemed like most of the “Selling Sunset” cast didn’t know about the relationship either. Mary Fitzgerald said that she “noticed” that they were spending time together, but that she had not asked Stause for clarification. Maya Vander said that she didn’t know anything.

About her sexuality, Stause said, “Nothing has really changed for me. I’m still very attracted to the very masculine energy and a good human being…I hear people talk about these things and say, ‘I’ve known this for a long time. long time”. early age.’ That is not me. I’m just very open to good energy. I don’t know what the future holds. But it is a complicated subject to talk about. Even now I’m nervous.”

She continued, “I know being in this position, we’re constantly judged. But at the end of the day, I’m really happy; so if that makes someone angry, that’s not really my problem.”

The fifth season of “Selling Sunset” focused much of its time on Stause’s relationship with her boss, Jason Oppenheim. They announced their separation in December 2021. During the reunion, Oppenheim became emotional talking about their separation and cried. “There is a lot of sadness and loss,” he said. “I think watching the show made it harder. You know, I remembered it. It’s been a few months, but I’m still going through things. I think there was a lot of love between us, and still is, and I still care a lot about her. It was a very difficult break.”

Stause said she’s “taken the pressure off” when it comes to starting a family and is focused on “enjoying herself.” Stause also admitted that G Flip is in “a different place in her life.”
