Dozens of homeless moms showered with love in Tustin

Dozens of needy mothers in Tustin were being showered with love on this special day.

Such was the result of Operation Warm Wishes, which hosted a pancake brunch and free clothing expo for Mother’s Day. The event was designed to attract homeless mothers and families.

“It’s important to me because there are a lot of single moms out there who need help and it’s important to me to give back to the community,” one volunteer shared. “It’s just a blessing. It’s a blessing.”

The event was held in the courtyard of the Tustin Branch Library until 1 pm and was expected to feed about 200 attendees. Attendees also had the opportunity to receive donated clothing items.
