A ‘confidence level’ on which seats the Liberals can hold

Former NSW Liberal Party leader Kerry Chikarovski says the polls have taken “a little longer” to adjust than she thought they would.

“I think there would be a level of confidence about retaining seats at the moment, so the Labor Party has to win seats from us, and I think there is a level of confidence about which ones we can keep,” he told Sky News Australia.

“I think it can be a minority government, fingers crossed, of course, that it is not.

“But it will be interesting to see if it is the teals or perhaps the existing cross bench… who will really control the numbers in parliament.”
